CICPA recently published the Work Breakdown Structure of Information Technology Development of the Accountancy Profession in 2013 (WBS 2013). WBS 2013 puts forward four key projects to be accomplished in 2013: (1) improve the level of information security; (2) promote the IT development of CICPA and institutes at local levels; (3) trial run the software (auditing and management system) designed for large-scale accounting firms and (4) promote the website development and management system of small-and-medium-sized accounting firms.
