In the morning of October 18, CICPA held the 18th Lecture by inviting Mr. Warren Allen, President of IFAC to introduce the functions of IFAC and its recent progress as well as interact with the audience on topics of common interests. Dr. Chen Yugui, Deputy President and Secretary General of CICPA, presided over the lecture, which was attended by more than 130 representatives including professors and graduate students from institutes and universities in Beijing, members of the CICPA’s Leading Talent Program and staff from CICPA.

　　To update accountants and CPA-major students on latest development in the world’s accounting and auditing sector and draw upon the experience and findings of professional accounting organizations, agencies, experts and scholars, the CICPA has successfully held 18 lectures since 2008, by inviting eminent persons in the accountancy profession to deliver speeches. Such lectures have provided an important platform for international communication within the profession.
